HELP TAKE A BITE OUT OF CANCER!
Saturday, October 5th
New England Lobster Market and Eatery
824 Cowan Road, Burlingame, CA94010
Come and eat delicious Maine lobster, enjoy lively music and spirits, and send kids to camp! The mission of Okizu is to help all members of families affected by childhood cancer to heal through peer support, respite, mentoring, and recreational programs. These programs are the result of a collaborative effort between Okizu and pediatric oncology treatment centers in Northern California.
Lobsterfest dinner includes lobster, jumbo prawns, hot links, corn on the cob, potatoes, artichokes, garlic, onions, sourdough bread, and dessert.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes. The Lobsterfest is 21+ over only.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking options include street parking on Cowan Road and neighborhood parking lots, which may also be available. New England Lobster Market & Eatery is approximately 1 mile from the Millbrae Intermodal Station, a nice walk or a short cab/Lyft/Uber ride away.
Is the event tax deductible?
Yes, a portion of the dinner is tax deductible. Ticket purchasers will be sent a letter confirming the tax-deductible amount after the event (total amount depends on the market price of lobster the day of the event.) All auction item sales above their fair market value are also tax deductible. Cash donations are fully tax deductible.
Is this All You Can Eat?
No, it's not. While the food is served traditional boil/clam bake style strewn on the table, it works out to be one lobster per person.
What if I am allergic to shellfish, can I still attend?
Yes, we do have a chicken option, and the vegetables etc, are cooked in a separate pot (while all pots are cleaned after every use, a pot may have previously had shellfish cooked in it.)
Seating Seating will be open for all parties of 16 or less. If you wish to arrange a table for your group, to ensure you are all together, all people in the party should be submitted on one reservation.
Tickets are $100 per person.
